Multimedia Art Exhibition — GT22 Gallery, Maribor — 2020

"The exhibition Levels extends the classic design medium of the poster through an additional level of interaction, such as is typical of video games. The project thus combines the media of the "motion poster", the art of video games and the graphic design poster. The thematisation of the virtual worlds of video games, which operate according to their own unique rules, would be interwoven with the typographic-compositional language of the poster, thus creating a new way of communicating with the user/visitor/player. With these speculative procedures, Šiško attempts to transpose the medium of the poster to the contemporary level of multimedia discourse. In this sense, Šiško also approaches the question of the future of graphic design communication with users: how a designer should use contemporary media and specific contexts to communicate and share ideas with users in a qualitative way. In doing so, Šiško reflects on themes of routine and entertainment through a conceptually oriented spectrum of design and artistic processes, and deconstructs the archetypes of popular culture through his saturated graphic language."
