Dorijan Šiško is an intermedia artist and graphic designer whose practice encompasses video games, experimental controllers, spatial installations, 3D graphics, and speculative design. In his work, he creates interactive virtual spaces of speculative visions of the future and alternative realities. With his unique, gamified installations, he explores a wide range of topics, from algorithmic cultures to post-digital mythologies.
He holds a master's degree in graphic design from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, where he also teaches. He has received several awards, including the Brumen and Tresk awards. Together with Sara Bezovšek and Lara Mejač, he curates the Kres exhibition platform for digital art, is a co-founder of the Freštreš art collective, and acts as visual coordinator for the Nimaš Izbire group.
His works have been presented at numerous solo and group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad, including the 34th Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts and the KIBLIX International Festival 2020–2021, the HDD Gallery in Zagreb, the Ujazdowski Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, the NRW-Forum in Düsseldorf, the Panke Gallery in Berlin, the Next Level Festival in Dortmund, the Out to See Festival in New York, and the Us by Night Festival in Antwerp.
