"Dorijan Šiško’s project TRIBE focuses on exploring the fulfilment of basic human needs in the future. His research is driven by two central questions: how can man fulfil his basic needs in the coming post-virtual society, and how does the intertwining of the virtual and the real influence design, and vice versa. Šiško answers these questions, important for the development of tools that would make the need for cooperation, freedom, identity etc. easier to fulfil, by designing absurd objects and situations with his always playful approach. The colourful meta-objects place man at a point where nearly everything that he needs for survival, work and pleasure is within his grasp. In a time when we can fulfil our basic needs almost from our beds, Šiško approaches critical reflection of the above-mentioned issues with humour, creating an interactive tribal village."
